The Baseline Evaluation Protocol
The Baseline Evaluation report has been carefully designed to provide clear insight into the functional status of the low back while maintaining an efficient and easy to read format. Through logistic regression analysis, parameters representing an individual's preferred movement patterns are translated into a single numerical score. This numerical scoring method is superior to other methods in that it allows a baseline score to be easily compared to subsequent performances while taking into consideration movement characteristics from each component of the test protocol.
The Clinical Evaluation Protocol
Like the Baseline Test report, the Clinical Evaluation report has been designed to quickly and clearly illustrate the functional status of an individual's low back. The Clinical Evaluation score is determined through a scoring method identical to the Baseline Testing scoring method, a feature which allows for accurate comparison between pre-injury and post injury tests. The Clinical Evaluation report also includes several additional areas of information which may provide insight into the consistency of a patient's performance. These areas include the result of the Waddell's Non-Organic Sign test , the patient's reported pain level, and a graphical representation of the patient's test performance. Inconsistencies among these areas of information suggest the low back problem should be further investigated for the presence of non-organic influences.
